Changed my mind about firing that problem client after a $1,800 loss
I was dead set on cutting loose this retailer from Cleveland who kept nitpicking every invoice, then their slow payments finally bounced twice last month. But when I sat down and tracked the actual numbers, their referrals brought in more than the headaches cost, so I kept them and tightened the contract. Anyone else ever rescue a toxic client after doing the math, or am I just fooling myself?
