Ran my first client kickoff on a landline in 2011, now I do them from a parking lot on my phone
Back then I rented a tiny office off Highway 99 in Modesto because clients didn't trust a guy working from his kitchen table, and every kickoff call was speakerphone on a desk phone that clipped every third word. Video calls felt like a magic trick when I finally got them working, and now I close $4k accounts from my truck outside a job site. Does anyone else miss when a handshake and a faxed signature was the whole onboarding?
