During a family video chat, the AI filter gave my grandma a dinosaur head.
Last year, we tried a new video app with AI filters for a big family call. My grandma's face kept getting swapped with a cartoon T-Rex, and she had no idea. We were all cracking up, but it felt like magic back then. Now, those filters are so smooth you'd hardly notice, and it makes me miss the early glitches.

Remember those early filters being way before last year. The ones that messed up faces were all over the place like 2-3 years ago. They'd glitch out every few seconds, not just stick on one effect. Makes sense you'd mix up the timing though, it all blurs together after a while.

Yeah what's wild is those glitchy filters accidentally created styles people now try to copy on purpose. Like that warped chin effect everyone does with the smoothing tool, it started as a bug in an old filter that stretched your face. Now it's a whole look. The mistakes basically wrote the rulebook for what 'cool' distortion is even supposed to be.

Explain how those glitches shaped future filters?
