I called AI transcription a gimmick until it caught something my ears missed in a 2 hour recording
Last month I recorded a 2 hour interview with a contractor for a side project and ran it through an AI transcription tool just to test it, fully expecting garbage. It pulled a client name and a dollar figure I had completely missed when listening back twice, and I sat there kind of stunned. Has anyone else had an AI tool catch details you missed, or is this just lucky with clear audio?

My ears are apparently just decorative at this point because I missed the same stuff twice. That dollar figure alone probably paid for the tool ten times over.
