I finally caved and bought the Ninja air fryer basket liners for 10 bucks

They're supposed to catch all the grease and keep your basket spotless, but after using them for chicken thighs last night the liner stuck to the food and tore open, leaving me with a mess anyway so has anyone found a brand that actually stays put and doesn't ruin the whole point of easy cleanup?

You are HOLDING it wrong. Those liners are NOT supposed to be a perfect fit for your basket, you have to leave some room around the edges. If you cram them in tight they will always tear when the food settles. I use them for EVERYTHING from wings to bacon and never had a liner stick to the food. Maybe try patting your chicken thighs dry before putting them in so there's less moisture to make the paper soggy.

Have you tried flipping the liner inside out before you use it? I started doing that by accident one time and the non-stick side ended up facing the basket instead of the food. It seemed to help with the sticking issue on the chicken skin side of things. Might be worth a shot next time you're loading up the basket.
