Overheard my neighbor trash the air fryer, had to speak up

My neighbor at our building's mail room said air fryers are just tiny convection ovens and a waste of counter space. That got me hot, I've used mine 4 times this week alone. Sure, it's not magic, but my chicken thighs come out crispy in 22 minutes with almost no oil. Anyone else have to defend their air fryer to someone who's never tried one?
