Torque wrenches from my Snap-On days vs the cheap digital I got off Amazon
I used to beat on a old click-type for 9 years in a hangar in Tulsa. Swore by it. Last month I grabbed a $60 digital adapter on a whim before a night shift and checked my old wrench against it. That clicker was clicking at 28 ft-lbs when I asked for 32. Did a whole wing job with the wrong numbers without knowing. Now I run the digital on every critical torque spec and just trust the numbers. Anyone else ever bother to verify their old favorite tools?

The digital adapter might be right, but I would check it against a known torque value before I trust a $60 Amazon tool over a wrench that held up nine years. A cheap sensor can drift just as easy as a clicker.
