Motion sensor died at 2am on a Tuesday, and my customer's dog set off the siren 4 times
Had a messy one two weeks ago at a house over in Reno. The motion sensor in the master bedroom started going bad, but instead of just quitting it kept false tripping every few hours. Customer's lab kept walking past it at night, and the siren screamed loud enough that the neighbors called them twice before I got there. I ended up swapping the sensor and turning down the pet immunity setting, but the real fix was moving it off the wall facing the hallway. So my question is, do you guys test walk patterns with the dog in the room or just trust the spec sheet?
