Update: my fossil ID log hit 100 species from one creek in Maryland
I started keeping a list of every fossil I found at this one creek spot in Maryland back in January, mostly just shark teeth and the odd shell. Last week I added a little coral piece and realized I had crossed 100 different species, which I never expected from a single spot. Does anyone else keep a running species list for one location, and did the number surprise you too?
