Chased a 'new comet' for 2 hours, turned out to be my neighbor's drone lights

Last Tuesday I saw this weird glowing object in the sky around 9pm, moving slow with a greenish tint. I grabbed my scope, set up in the driveway, and spent 2 hours trying to track it, even woke up my wife to show her. She squinted and said, 'That looks like the drone Frank flies to check his gutters.' Sure enough, Frank waved at me from his porch. Anyone else ever mistake something dumb for a celestial event? I need to know I'm not the only one.
