Pro tip: check your histogram after every 50 shots, my Milky Way stack hit 312 frames
I shot the Milky Way over Joshua Tree two weekends ago and did not check my histogram until I got home, and 312 frames later I found out I had blown out every single star core. I was so focused on my framing and my intervalometer that I never looked at the back of the screen once the whole night. How many frames do you all shoot before you stop and actually check your exposure?
