Just read that the average car has over 300 square feet of surface area to prep and paint.
Found that stat in an old trade magazine at the dentist's office, and it made me appreciate how much filler and primer we actually go through on a full respray.

That's a ton of masking tape.

My buddy's shop once used a whole roll of tape just to mask off a single classic truck's trim.
