My old shop foreman told me to stop blocking filler with 80 grit, and he was dead wrong
He swore 80 grit was the only way to knock down a filler edge without loading up paper, so I did it his way on a silver 2016 F-150 bedside and the scratches showed straight through the sealer. I switched back to 180 on a DA and the paint laid flat. Anyone else still fighting this one with the old timers, or is it just my shop?
