Showerthought: it took me 3 weeks to figure out my extended warranty needed the dealer to file the claim, not me

I called the warranty company 4 times and each person gave me a different answer, but the real hold up was that my plan with a $100 deductible through the dealer in Tucson only works if they submit the paperwork. I tried to file it myself like a rebate form and got the runaround for almost a month. Has anyone else run into a plan that makes the shop file instead of the owner?
