Just realized my stove died 9 miles into the Eagle Rock loop and I had no backup
About two weeks ago I was three days into the Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas when my canister stove quit on me at camp. Turned out the cold had messed with the pressure and I had no spare, so I ate cold soaked noodles for two nights. Now I always pack a tiny backup stove and a few fuel cubes, even on short trips. What do you all carry as a stove backup, or am I overthinking it?
