Wore two pairs of socks on a wet Smokies trip, and that one trick saved my whole week
I used to get blisters on every long climb until an old hiker on the AT near Gatlinburg showed me his liner sock setup back in 2019. A thin poly liner under a wool sock moved the rubbing to the liner instead of my heel, and I finished 62 miles with zero hot spots. Anyone else still doing the two sock thing, or have you found something better for wet trail days?
