I thought solar path lights were junk until my neighbor in Mesa showed me his setup
I bought a 6 pack of those cheap solar path lights for like $25 two summers ago and half of them died within a month, so I wrote off the whole idea. Then my neighbor Ray showed me his, and the difference was he swapped the little AAA batteries inside for higher capacity ones he got for about $12 total. He also scraped the plastic lens cover off with a razor because the frosting was blocking half the light. Mine have been running 3 years now, same cheap housings. Anyone else mess with the guts on these before tossing them?
