TIL the self checkout at my grocery on 5th has a touchscreen that looks like 2009 and scans my bananas as avocados

That touchscreen from 2009 is the real problem here. The banana avocado mixup is just a symptom of a machine that gave up years ago. Time to retire that thing before it charges someone 12 bucks for a grape.
