Vent: dropped $65 on a fancy script font for my sister's baby shower invites and half the letters don't connect
I bought this script font for $65 off one of those font sites for my sister's baby shower invites in March. The preview looked lovely but when I typed out names like "Baby Reed" the B and a had this ugly gap and the r looked like it was falling over. I had already printed 40 invites at the copy place in town for $28 before I saw the problem, so that money is gone too. My sister's mother in law said the names looked like "a ransom note written by someone in a hurry" and honestly she was not wrong. Has anyone found a script that actually connects right when you type, or should I just go back to a plain font and stop trying to be cute?
