Appreciation post: the DMV kiosk on Broadway saved me after the website ate my renewal 3 times
I was at the DMV office on Broadway in Denver two weeks ago because the online renewal form kept wiping my payment info every time I hit submit. Three tries, three times it dumped me back to the start with no error message, just a blank form and my card already charged a hold each time. The guy at the counter pointed me to the self-serve kiosk in the corner and told me to skip the site entirely. That kiosk did the whole thing in about 4 minutes, printed my sticker on the spot, and never asked me to make an account or confirm an email. The funny part is the kiosk UI is ugly as sin, big blocky buttons and a font from 2009, but every button does exactly what it says. I have started looking for those kiosks at other government offices now instead of fighting the websites. Does anyone know if the kiosks at the Aurora branch work the same way, or is it hit and miss by location?
