Can we talk about the week my bank app logged me out 14 times in one day?
Last Tuesday I was trying to pay my electric bill from a coffee shop in Austin and the app kicked me back to the login screen every time I typed more than 3 digits of my card number. I counted 14 logouts before I gave up and drove to a branch in the rain, which took 40 minutes because the address in the app still pointed to a location that closed 2 years ago. The worst part is the app reminds me every 90 days to update my password but won't remember my device for more than a day. Whoever decided that logging someone out mid-payment is a security feature should have to sit in that parking lot and try it themselves. Does anyone know a bank that actually keeps you signed in, or is this just how it is now?
