Our local library's new self-checkout screen hides the 'no receipt' button under a tiny 'more options' menu

I watched three people in a row at the Maple Street branch print a receipt they didn't want, then throw it away. The main screen only shows 'Print Receipt' in a big green button. To skip it, you have to tap a tiny gray 'Options' text, which opens a separate menu. It adds maybe 5 seconds per person, but with a line, it really slows things down. Has anyone else seen this kind of hidden option design in other public kiosks?

The pharmacy kiosk at the Greenvale Mall does the exact same thing with insurance info. The big blue button says "Pay Now" and assumes you're paying cash. To use your insurance card, you have to find the tiny "Other Payment" link in the corner of the screen. I stood there for two minutes trying to figure it out while people waited behind me. It feels like they're hoping you'll just give up and pay the full price.

People get too worked up over minor stuff. It's a receipt, not a life or death choice. The button is there if you look for it. Gibson.iris has a point about the pharmacy, but that's different because it's about money. This is just paper waste. Everyone's in such a hurry these days.
