That stretch of 40 degree mornings wrecked my tire seating routine
Last week in Portland I had 5 flats across 3 shop bikes before 10am, all from beads popping loose when the tubes got stiff in the cold. I started warming tires on the radiator for 10 minutes before mounting and it cut my redo count to zero. Anyone else deal with cold weather seating issues or do you just use more soapy water?
