Looked up the Rotten Tomatoes score for Breaking Bad season 1 and it's only 85%
Everyone acts like it was perfect from episode 1, but I found that stat on Rotten Tomatoes last night and it blew my mind. Has anyone else had a favorite show that took a full season to really hit its stride?

It's like most good things really... they need time to cook.

3 billion chickens get slaughtered every year in the US alone. Nobody's waiting for them to "cook" longer, they're just putting them through a grinder. Same with fast fashion. Nobody's letting a cotton t-shirt "marinate" for six months before they wear it. We want convenience, not quality. Most people would rather have something that works right now than something that's perfect next year.
