Started watching a crime drama from 2019 and the first season was a slog, but season 2 hooked me hard
A buddy kept pushing me to check out this show called The Killing, said it was so good. I started it 3 weeks ago and almost quit after episode 4, it moved way too slow for me. Last night I hit season 2 and suddenly I couldn't stop, binged 6 episodes straight. Has anyone else had a show that took a full season to find its stride? What kept you going through it?

Three episodes in with The Americans I was ready to call it quits, thought I'd wasted my money on another streaming subscription. By episode 8 I was staying up until 2am on a work night like an idiot, the whole season turned it around. My wife still reminds me I almost missed out on that one.
