Am I the only one who thinks 'analysis paralysis' is just a nice way to say someone can't make a simple choice?
Watched a guy at my local game cafe take 22 minutes to pick a starting faction in a game of Scythe. It's not deep strategy, it's holding six people hostage. What's the longest you've waited for someone to take their turn?

My friend once spent 45 minutes deciding which sandwich to order at a deli with a huge menu. I mean at that point you're just reading every ingredient out loud to yourself. It's the same energy as the Scythe guy, just pure fear of picking wrong.

That "fear of picking wrong" hits hard. I wonder if it's less about the sandwich and more about the pressure to make the one perfect choice from all those options. Does your friend get that stuck on other small decisions, or is it just food? Feels like a menu that big turns a simple lunch into a test you can fail.

I just set a timer on my phone now. Told my buddy he gets two minutes to pick a faction or I pick for him. Works every time.
