Can we talk about rule arguments during game night?

I mean, last time we played, a friend insisted on a rule that no one else remembered. Idk, it just killed the vibe for me. What do you all do to keep things smooth?

Did that argument really go on for 45 minutes? That's insane. We have a hard rule now to just check the book right away. Saves so much time and stops the bad feelings. Letting one person decide for everyone never works out.

In my experience, keeping the rulebook open on the table stops those debates before they even start. Saved us a ton of time last game night.
