Showerthought: my kitchen got repainted lime green and hot pink, and now I can't decide if I love it or hate it
Last month my wife and I finally repainted our kitchen after putting it off for two years. We picked lime green for the cabinets and hot pink for the backsplash. It sounds like a mess, but when the light hits it in the afternoon it kind of works. Our neighbor walked in and said it looked like a watermelon exploded, but my sister said it was the happiest room she'd ever seen. Now I'm stuck. Part of me thinks we should've gone with safer colors, but another part loves how it wakes me up in the morning. Has anyone else done a combo that everyone else hated but you secretly loved? Or did you end up repainting after a few months?
