Just realized my old press was a 1917 model the whole time

I was cleaning out my workshop last Saturday and found the original bill of sale tucked behind the press bed. Turns out that Chandler and Price I've been using for 15 years was built in 1917, I always figured it was from the 30s or 40s. It made me think about all the books that thing has pressed, probably thousands at this point. Has anyone else ever looked up the serial number on their old equipment and gotten a shock like that?
