Rant: glued my first full leather reback last Tuesday and the spine dried with a twist in it

I had the book in my press out in the garage in Fresno with the heat at 95 and I rushed the paste, so now the spine leans about a quarter inch left of the boards and I am trying to figure out if I should wet it back down and redo it or just live with it, has anyone fixed a twisted spine without ruining the hinges?
