Saw my first case binding hold up after 3 years of daily use
A customer brought back a book I bound in 2021 and the spine was still tight with no cracks in the hinge, just some wear on the corners. I had switched from PVA to a 50/50 mix with methyl cellulose around that time and I think that made the difference. Anyone else notice a glue change that fixed long term durability like that?
