Heard a guy at the plant sale say peat moss is "basically renewable" and I had to walk away
I was at the spring swap in Madison last Saturday and this guy was telling a new grower that peat bogs grow back in a couple years, which is just not true, they take centuries. I didn't want to start a fight over the free tomato seedlings so I just said something to her quietly after, but it's been bugging me all week. Anyone got a go to line for correcting people at swaps without being that person?
