Got stuck paying $12 for a tiny water bottle at the Rome airport.

Now I always pack an empty bottle and fill it after security. What's your go-to move for avoiding airport prices?

Totally agree with that move! Learned the hard way after a five dollar soda at O'Hare. Now my empty bottle is the first thing in my bag.

Ugh, that's just brutal. I'd rather be thirsty than fund an airport's second private jet. My empty bottle is basically a travel protest at this point.
