Hot take: maybe monthly spreads are a waste of time for most people
My coworker told me my weeklies were too cluttered to actually use, so I dropped monthly pages for just a rolling weekly and a future log, but now I'm wondering if I lost too much long-term planning - has anyone else tried cutting out one spread type and regretted it or found it freeing?

Right there with you. Tried the minimalist approach and just used a rolling weekly for like three months - totally lost track of anything more than a week out and missed a bunch of deadline stuff. Ended up bringing back a super basic monthly just for big-picture stuff, one page per month, nothing fancy.
