Vent: people keep drawing their monthly spreads before the month starts and it backfires
I set up my March layout on February 25th and by day 3 I had already ripped out two pages because my plans totally changed. My trick now is to pencil in the grid on the last day of the month, then ink it once I know what's happening. Anyone else stopped pre-drawing entire months for this reason?
Is ripping out two pages really a big deal though? Paper costs like nothing and you got a fresh start either way. The whole point of a bujo is that it bends to your life, not the other way around. If penciling things in works for you then cool, but acting like pre-drawing is some kind of trap feels a bit much. Plenty of people map out a month and just white-out or tape over the parts that change. Maybe the real issue is trying to lock in every detail before you even know what the month looks like.
