That 1997 Nikon F5 shutter I rebuilt last Tuesday changed my mind about old gear
Honestly, the before and after on this F5 was night and day, the mirror slap got way harsher after 200k clicks and a full CLA brought it back to a smooth thud. Has anyone else found that rebuilding a shutter mechanism alters how you see modern plastic cameras?
