The shutter magnet I resoldered after 3 failed attempts finally held
Spent last weekend on a Canon AE-1 that kept jamming at 1/1000, figured out the original solder joint had cracked from years of use, and after my third try with fresh flux and a lower iron temp it fired perfectly 50 times in a row.
