Serious question, did I really need to pay $15 a month for that mockup site when Figma plugins do it free?
I signed up for a year of a mockup tool back in January and paid $180 up front because the landing page said it had "pro" device frames. Turns out Figma has a plugin called Mockup that does the same thing for free, and it took me 10 minutes to find it. I just want to know if anyone else got suckered by one of those standalone sites before they figured out the plugins. How do you decide when it's worth paying versus digging through the community tab?
