Took me months to accept Canva's autosave is actually a feature

A client caught a typo in a presentation I made in Figma and asked why I didn't just use Canva's autosave. I argued Figma's version history was better, but after 3 missed deadline edits, I switched my workflow for client-facing decks and now I get the point. Anyone else stubbornly stick with one tool until someone calls it out?

wait, so we're really out here acting like autosave is some kind of breakthrough? i've lost count of how many times canva's autosave saved a typo and then locked it in so deep i couldn't undo it without hunting through a messy history. you're telling me this is a feature and not a trap? i get the missed deadline thing, that's real, but i'd rather have figma's version control where i can actually see what changed and when. maybe i'm just old school, but i don't trust a tool that saves my mistakes without asking first. how do you even deal with the panic when you see the wrong draft saved and there's no easy way back?
