Hot take: enclosed trailer vs open trailer for a 900 mile haul
Moved my brother's restored '68 Mustang from Phoenix to Portland last month and we went back and forth on an enclosed trailer versus an open one for weeks. The enclosed cost about $400 more but the car showed up with zero dust and no rock chips, while a buddy who went open on the same route ended up with a cracked windshield. Is the extra cash for enclosed always worth it, or did we just get lucky with the weather?
