Saw 14 car carriers lined up off I-80 near Joliet last Tuesday and it got me thinking about timing
I was driving back from a job site near Joliet last Tuesday and counted 14 open carriers parked in a row at a truck stop off I-80. A driver there mentioned that late fall is when a lot of snowbirds book their moves south, so the lots fill up before the rates jump in December. I had never thought about how much the season changes what you pay or how long your car sits waiting for a spot. Does anyone here plan their transport around the slow months instead of the busy ones?
