Shipped a car from Phoenix to Seattle and saved $300 by being flexible on pickup day
Booked the transport 3 weeks back and the broker said if I could do a 4 day pickup window instead of one exact date, they'd knock $300 off since they could fill a truck going north. Took the Tuesday slot and the driver called 2 days ahead, car showed up in Seattle with no issues. Has anyone else gotten a better rate just by loosening their pickup window?
