I keep seeing people take the first salary number a company throws out, and it costs them thousands
I have hired a few guys over the years and the ones who ask about pay in the first two minutes almost always take the first offer. One guy I know in Nashville got offered $52,000 and just said okay, then found out later the range went to $68,000 for the same job. Has anyone here actually pushed back and gotten a better number, or did it backfire on you?
