Small win: My resume finally got past the company's weird application portal
I used to HATE how their online system would mess up my formatting and lose sections. Today, I tried a plain text upload with keywords and actually got a reply. What's the most annoying tech hurdle you've had to jump in your job search?

Yeah that plain text trick is a lifesaver. Those systems are basically designed to filter you out before a human even sees it. Makes the whole process feel like guessing a password instead of applying for a job.

Honestly video interviews are the worst tech hurdle for me. Once did a recorded one where my cat jumped on the keyboard and froze the whole thing. Another time the echo was so bad it sounded like I was in a cave. Tbh it just makes the whole thing feel even more awkward and robotic.

Totally get that robotic vibe. Adds so much extra pressure on top of the normal nerves. Just a whole new layer of stuff to go wrong.
