My former boss said cordless nailers were a gimmick, 3 months in he was wrong
I worked for a guy in Cincinnati who swore battery nailers would never hold up on trim work. He made me use a compressor for two straight years, so I finally bought my own 18 gauge cordless last January. After 60+ door casings and a full baseboard job at a condo, the battery still has charge left at end of day and I haven't tripped over a hose once. He borrowed it for a kitchen remodel last week and now he's ordering two for the shop. Has anyone else had a veteran carpenter flip their stance on a tool after seeing it work on a real job?
