My uncle's 1978 table saw cut cleaner after he quit waxing the top, and at first I thought he was nuts
He stopped waxing it about 2 years ago and the burn marks just went away because wax was trapping sawdust on the cast iron. I tried it on my old Rockwell 10 inch and my rip cuts stopped scorching within a week. Anyone else had a finish trick backfire on them like that?
