Said no to a 12 dollar corner clamp from the discount bin, now I drive 40 minutes to get the same one

Picked up a cheap corner clamp at a flea market in Dayton last spring just to prove my buddy wrong about the plastic ones being fine, and it held two oak cabinet frames dead square while my good metal clamp slipped. Ended up buying three more at 12 bucks each and they've outlasted the name brand one that cost me 45. Has anyone found a cheap clamp that actually held up past a year of daily use?
