I hit 400 pounds of onions diced last Tuesday and my wrist feels like a wet noodle
Last Tuesday I was prepping for a big catering gig at the hotel in Boise and my prep sheet said 400 pounds of yellow onions for French onion soup. I didn't think much of it until I was about 300 pounds in, eyes burning through a pair of goggles I bought at a hardware store, and my wrist started making a clicking noise. Around onion 350 I stopped caring how even the dice was and just started swinging. My sous chef walked by and said "you look like you're mad at the onions" and honestly she was right. Does anyone here have a trick for keeping your wrist from dying on big prep days, or do I just need to start lifting weights?
