Guy at the Kansas City trade show asked for 3 rounds of spec work, then hired his nephew
Was at a design mixer in Kansas City back in March. This guy chatted me up for 20 minutes, then asked for 3 full logo rounds before any contract. I did it because the budget sounded good. He went with his nephew's version and never paid me a dime. How do you all shut down spec requests without killing the vibe at events like that?
