My old boss told me to stop naming folders by client and I told her she was wrong for 6 months
Back in 2019 I worked at a small print shop in Portland and my boss made us switch every job folder to a date format like 2019-07-14 instead of the client name, and I argued with her about it for months because I could not find anything by date. Then a regular customer came back 8 months later for a reprint and I watched her pull the file in about 10 seconds while I was still scrolling through old client folders. How do you all handle folders for repeat customers who come back way later with a new name?
